Invitations and pre-registrations: single-use and valid only on a specific date

When creating invitations for visitors, there are two validity rules that explain most reports of “the invitation didn’t arrive” or “sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t”:

  1. FastPass: The invitation at FastPass is single-use only. Once the visitor uses it to check in, that invitation is no longer available. If the person returns, the host resident must generate and send a new invitation.

  2. Pre-registration with a date: If the pre-registration is created for a specific date, the visitor must check in on that exact date. If they try to enter on another day, that pre-registration will no longer grant them access, and a new one will need to be created for the new date.

For this reason, when a visitor arrives two days in a row or repeatedly, each entry requires its own invitation or its own pre-registration for that day.

Recommendation: If the visitor is recurring (domestic staff, family members, frequent service providers), the best option is to create a Acceso Frecuente (Frequent Access) instead of sending individual invitations each time.

Keeping these rules in mind when sending invitations prevents issues at the gate and repeated entry attempts.
