App for security guards: Use Munily Operativo (not the residents' app)

Common issues (security guards/security): "I'm a security guard and I can't log in," "I'm on security duty and it won't let me in," "The gatehouse app won't open / won't let me log in," "The security guard can't log in," "The security guard can't log in," "The security guard app isn't working."

Most common cause: The security guard is using the wrong app. Security guards DO NOT use the residents’ app: they use a DIFFERENT app called Munily Operativo (the app for security guards / security / gatehouse).

What to do:

  1. Uninstall the residents’ app if you installed it by mistake.
  2. Download the Munily Operativo app for your device:
  3. How to recognize it: Its icon is a blue SHIELD with a person-like figure (“i”) and a yellow building. It’s called “Munily Operativo.”
  4. Go to Munily Operativo and log in with the email address and password for your post/gatehouse.
  5. If you don’t have or can’t remember the security guard’s password: the ADMINISTRATION at PH (HOA) manages and resets it. Ask the administration to request a reset of the security guard’s password.

Important: The residents’ app and the Munily Operativo app are different. A security guard must ALWAYS use Munily Operativo; if they try to log in through the residents’ app, they will not be able to access the system even if their email and password are correct.

The gatehouse tablet was formatted or lost the app: how to restore it without waiting for a service visit

If the front desk tablet was formatted or restored and the app is missing, there’s no need to wait for a technician to visit to get it working again; the process can be done remotely:

  1. From the tablet, go to the Play Store and re-download “Munily Operativo” (the app for security guards).
  2. Log in with the security post’s username (email). This email is an account assigned to the post or gatehouse, separate from the security guard’s personal email: the security guard does NOT need access to that email account to log in; they simply need to enter the exact email address and password provided by property management or support.
  3. If the security user’s password is unknown, the administrator can assign a new one from their admin profile on the computer (web platform) and provide it to the security guard.
  4. If you receive an error when logging in, confirm that the installed app is “Munily Operativo” and not “Munily” (the one for residents and property management): with the wrong app, it will not open even if the email and password are correct.
  5. If, after reinstalling the app and logging in with the correct credentials, the tablet still does not work, contact support to schedule a technical visit.
