Password Reset: Requires Approval from Property Management
When a resident resets their password at Munily, they receive a temporary password via email; they must enter it and then set their own password. If the reset does not work or the change is not applied, the complex’s property management (PH (HOA)) must approve the password change: the resident should contact their property management (or call them) to have it approved, keeping in mind the property management’s office hours.
The email or reset link didn’t arrive: what to check
If the user states they requested a reset but never received the email or link, check the following in this order before asking for more information:
- Check the Spam, Junk, Promotions, and Social folders in their inbox.
- Confirm that the email address used to request the reset is exactly the same as the one registered with the unit at Munily; if it’s a different email address, the message will never reach that inbox.
- Verify that the registered email address is spelled correctly (without spaces or extra characters) and that the account is active; if the registered email address contains an error or is no longer in use, the information must be corrected by the Administración (Administration) at PH.
- Request the reset again through the app and wait a few minutes, as it may take some time to be sent.
- If it still does not arrive, the resident should contact Administración at PH to have the password change approved or the registered email address corrected.
Important: If the user’s email is bounced back or they are unable to receive messages, do not repeatedly request the same information. Immediately offer the alternative solution: verify the registered email address with Administración at PH or register a valid, active email address for the unit.
