Registration or association with a unit: This is handled through the HOA Administration.
As a security policy for residents and homeowners, Munily does not register or link units directly at the user’s request. Registration and unit linking are authorized by the homeowners association (HOA).
Common issue: The app displays a blank screen or asks to be restarted
If, upon opening the app, a message appears indicating that it needs to be restarted, or the screen goes blank and does not respond, this is usually NOT a platform error: it occurs because the email address used to log in is not associated with any unit—in other words, the registration process was not completed correctly.
Correct registration process for a new resident:
- Download the app at Munily.
- Register with your email address.
- Enter the residence code corresponding to the homeowners association (HOA) (request this from the HOA Administration).
- The property management office reviews and authorizes the request from the Dashboard so that the resident is linked to their unit.
What the resident or homeowner should do:
- Go directly to the property management office of your HOA.
- Request registration or association with your unit.
- Request the community code (residence code), which is required to complete the process in the app. If you are unable to contact the administration, security guards at the homeowners association (HOA) can also provide this code, as they have that information.
- Use that code to complete registration in the app.
Why the property management must approve: When it comes to new people in the HOA, the administrative department verifies their information and grants approval via the dashboard so they can be registered in the system. This is part of the security policies and protects all residents and homeowners in the community. Once the Administration approves the registration, the person is properly linked to the system.
