Why are gate notifications sent to all users in the unit?

Notifications generated by the front desk (packages, visitors, and deliveries) are associated with the UNIT, not with a specific resident. Therefore, any entry made by the front desk for a unit is notified to ALL users linked to that unit, not just the person who was expecting the package or visitor. This is the expected behavior—it is neither an error nor a glitch.

If a user receives notifications that seem to correspond to another member of their same unit, this is normal, because both share the unit, and all events recorded for it are notified to the associated users.

Opposite scenario: the user is NOT receiving messages or notifications from their unit
Since notifications are sent to the unit, if a user is not receiving the messages or notices they expect, a common cause is that the user was associated with a unit other than the correct one. Support verifies which unit the user is associated with and updates the system to link them to the correct unit. After this correction, the user must completely close the app and log in again, then test to verify that messages and notifications are arriving normally.

Additional recommendation: Each user should keep their session open only on their own device. If a session remains open on another device (for example, a work computer or a shared device), notifications will also be sent there. Ensure that each user has their session open only on their personal cell phone so that the information reaches the correct devices.
